Micro-bladed Brows without a tattoo? Yes please!
Brow lamination or better known as 'Brow Lami' is the same process as lash lift which is the perming of the hairs into a certain direction (usually upwards). Every hair stands to attention, giving a result very similar to the full and feathery effect of microblading, but without any needling or pain. If brow trends are anything o go by it's the must-have trend from 2020!
This look is amazing for those who don't have as much symmetry in their brows and can create a fuller, thicker look even if the hairs don't flow in the same direction. A keratin chemical solution is used to straighten the brows in a certain direction. the treatment works in 2 steps, firstly a keratin chemical is applied to lift and soften the brow hairs allowing your technician to brush and manipulate them easily into the desired place and direction. A 'setting' solution or neutralising cream is then added to secure and set your new brows into place!
Thin brows are out and thick fluffy brows are in! If you have had a brow lamination before then you probably know the feeling you get when you see your brand new brows, and if you are new here well.. Let's just say you will be hooked in no time!
Directly after your treatment your brows will look wet and sleek, similar to freshly micro bladed brows and will last for roughly 24 hours. After that, it's in your hands to ensure that you keep them moisturised and brushed into place!
A Brow lamination can last anywhere from 6-8 weeks depending on your hair growth and fall-out cycle. and is e=recommended to come back around that time for another one. You can ensure that your brows look their best throughout the whole 6-8 weeks by applying a serum and brow gel to ensure you keep that fluffy brow alive!

Brow laminations require very minimal aftercare, but the aftercare that is needed will ensure you have the fuller affect for longer. We recommend not getting them wet or in any steam for 24 hours post treatment however after that you can wet them and wash your face as much as you like. You will then be advised to use a brow serum and brow gel throughout the remaining 6-8 weeks. We recommend using the LashTherapy brow serum or Castor oil for your aftercare and both can be purchased through us at Luxe Beauty Haus & Co. We also sell Brow Gel for your everyday wear.
The answer is MOST people can get a brow lamination! However if you have very minimal brow hairs then you are most likely not a candidate for this treatment, you will likely have to go for a hybrid tint if you have sparse brows in order to create that fuller effect by dying the skin as-well as the hairs. This treatment is suitable for those who have thick full brows already who want to tame them by shaping them perfectly instead of them going in different directions.
The answer differs person to person however we have a few options to add to your Brow lamination treatment. A brow lamination can already change the colour of your brows this is due to a chemical reaction in the hairs and they can already appear darker post-treatment. Your technician will show you what your brows look like before going ahead with any tint. You then have the option of a standard tint which will tint the eyebrow hairs to a colour picked by you. and your technician or Hybrid tint. This tint is best for those who have less hairs in their brows and want to create a darker, fuller brow. This tint dyes the skin as well as the hairs and can create a very full and thick brow. This is also a good option for those who are going on holiday and want their tint to last longer! Hybrid tint lasts up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 7 weeks on the hairs whereas a normal tint does not stain the skin and only lasts on hairs for up to 2 weeks.
