Have you ever walked past someone and spotted something shiny on their tooth and wondered what it was? That my loves is the accessory of the moment. A tooth gem or tooth jewel as some like to call it. Tooth Gems come in a range of different styles, sizes and colours and are bound to turn heads!

This tiny accessory is attached to the front of your tooth/teeth and can make your smile a little or a LOT extra! In short these are basically adhered to the teeth using cosmetic glue and suction as a little accessory on your tooth. Tooth Gems are very popular in the U.S and trending from celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Rihanna, Drake, Ariana Grande and Kendall Jenner and they're now coming into Australia HOT!

Here at luxe Beauty Haus & Co we only use authentic Swarovski crystals for all of our gem applications which are lead-free along with the best and most effective bonding solutions to adhere the gems to the teeth. The process is completely pain free and includes no drilling or holes, it is simply placed and set onto the tooth in the desired position. These Gems can last anywhere from 30 Days to 2+ years and are easily removed by going to your local dentist. We DO NOT recommend trying to take them off yourself and we do not remove any gems.

Each Gem is placed using a 5 Step procedure:

Tooth Prep, Bonding Application, Jewellery Application, Setting and Aftercare.

Each step is crucial to the end result of your tooth gem and each gem is done with care and precision by your technician. During your appointment you will have a consultation to discuss your thoughts around what type of gems you would like on your teeth, what colours you would like as well as different designs. Before your gem is set into place your technician will ask you whether you like the spot it has been placed and if so will go ahead with the setting.

How long will my tooth gem last?

This varies person to person however tooth gems can last anywhere between 30 Days up to 2 years+. If your tooth gems falls off before the 30 Days we will replace it for free.

Is it painful?

No. There is no pain associated with getting a tooth gem. No drilling and no holes involved like permanent tooth gems.

Does it damage my teeth?

There is no correlation between tooth gems and damage to your teeth as long as your gems are adhered correctly by a professional. Tooth gems that are applied incorrectly can cause excess tartar build up. At Luxe Beauty Haus we ensure that no damage to your teeth can happen by applying the tooth gems on the tooth correctly and ensuring no adhesive is placed over the gaps between the teeth allowing you to still floss.

Is the any complications?

The biggest concern for people is them swallowing the gem, but rest assured our gems are completely lead-free and safe if you do accidentally swallow them. Other complications due to incorrect application from un trained technicians can create inflamed gums, damaged enamel or damage to your lips from the jewellery rubbing on them.

Who performs the procedure?

You can receive tooth gems from a few places around Australia including some dentists. At Luxe Beauty Haus & Co you can have piece of mind knowing that our technicians are fully trained In the application of these tooth gems and work in a clean and sterile establishment. We do not remove any gems that have been placed on the tooth including those done by us. We recommend you either wait until it naturally falls off or go to your local dentist for a removal.
